Leading CTE with Differentiation for the 21st Century
Apr. 6, 2017 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Workshop #: 39632
To differentiate instruction in the career and technical education classroom is to act on the belief that all kids deserve access to the richest most compelling learning experiences and to provide the scaffolding they need to seize opportunities for relevant career based instruction. All of our students depend on us to help them construct a solid academic and career and technical education foundation for life, and differentiated instruction is an approach that equips us for this responsibility. Leading the change to differentiate CTE instruction means creating an environment in which each individual feels valued, challenged, supported and part of a team working together for success. Bring your CTE district team of CTE director, campus leader, counselor, and CTE teachers to collaboratively learn how to foster and recognize differentiation practices in career and technical education classrooms. Each participant will receive a resource book from ASCD and additional resources. Bring your own device to this workshop so you can access some of the resources.
Registration ends: 4/3/2017 Maximum Enrollment: 40 Fee: $100
