Child Nutrition Programs

Serving All Your Child Nutrition Needs

Education Service Center, Region 20, Child Nutrition Programs provide training and technical assistance to local contracting entities in the operation and administration of Child Nutrition Programs. Region 20 Child Nutrition Programs staff includes Pat Brown, Educational Specialist Supervisor, Gretchen Elkins, Educational Specialist, Beverly Shaw, Educational Specialist, Beveylon Concha, Educational Specialist, and Jessica Herrera, Office Assistant. 

Our goal is to provide comprehensive, accurate, timely information about operating cost and effective programs that meet federal and state compliance regulations while also meeting the needs of the customers of the National School Breakfast/Lunch Program.  Exercise, Eating Right and Education are a critical key to student success. Child Nutrition Programs foster healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime.

Internet links such as USDA's "Team Nutrition" and the "National Food Service Management Institute" will connect you to a world of food and nutrition resources.

The Education Service Center, Region 20 Child Nutrition Programs is available to provide the following services to all Local Contracting Entities of the National School Lunch/Breakfast Program:
