Basic Components of Texas Beginning Education Support System (TxBESS)
What is it?
TxBESS is a mentoring program based on the TxBESS Performance Standards and developmental continuum contained in the TxBESS Framework, which describe proficiencies teachers should have and developmental indicators in acquiring those proficiencies. These standards are based on the national research of Charlotte Danielson contained in Enhancing Professional Practices: A Framework for Teaching.
