Substitute Teacher Training

Education Service Center, Region 20 offers a full day training that will provide participants with the knowledge and skills that are needed in order to be an excellent substitute teacher. These important educators will be taught the essentials of classroom management, professionalism, collegiality, teamwork, and ethics.

Throughout the training, participants will actively engage in communication strategies that will be used to enhance their interaction with co-workers, students, parents, and other people that they will encounter as they substitute in a school. This workshop will help substitutes discover why a positive environment creates motivation, inspiration and higher engagement.
