Cooperative Benefits

The Personnel Services Cooperative, serves as a strategic partner supporting ESC-20 LEA’s by recruiting, sustaining and empowering human resource staff, thus allowing them to staff their schools with highly effective teachers and paraprofessionals.
  • Providing the Frontline Recruiting & Hiring System to post district vacancies and browse candidate applications
  • Assist with district recruitment by hosting one Virtual Job Fair
  • Assist with district recruitment by hosting one on-site Job Fair
  • Assist with recruitment of staff in high-needs areas by attending job fairs throughout Texas on behalf of member districts
  • Enhance staff development by providing 5 Human Resources Sessions (one district staff member may attend at no cost)
  • Enhance staff development by providing monthly Virtual HR Director Meetings (no limit on the number of staff members that may attend)

 

THE LOCAL EDUCATION AGENCY (LEA) WILL:

  • Designate a district person to serve as a liaison with ESC-20

LEA's that are interested in purchasing more than 2,500 user accounts, will need to contact Kathy Cervantez for customized pricing.  

THE LOCAL EDUCATION AGENCY (LEA) WILL:

  • Designate a district person to serve as a liaison with ESC-20
  • An ESC-20 representative will contact the LEA liaison to select the specific course(s) that the district wishes to utilize during the commitment year.  Please note: Once videos are selected, district personnel will only have access to those specific videos that were chosen at the beginning of the commitment year.
  • LEA will ensure that the total number of registered participants does not exceed the total number of licenses purchased. 
  • All courses must be completed prior to July 31, 2021 in order to receive credit for the session.

ESC-20 WILL:

  • Assist with Certification Services by: 
    • Providing unlimited access to a certification specialist to assist the district in determining Highly Effective status and appropriate assignments for certified and non-certified educators through telephone and e-mail correspondence.
    • Providing unlimited phone/email access to a specialist to assist with the TEA ECOS online system.
    • Providing virtual personnel record reviews and campus master schedule reviews to ensure compliance with Highly Effective & the Texas Administrative Code.
    • Providing detailed follow-up report(s) regarding record reviews.
    • Providing virtual or on-site visits as needed and requested by the district.
    • Providing virtual or on-site training for personnel staff covering TEA issued permits, educational aide certificates and assignment rules.
    • Providing virtual office hours exclusively for PSC Member District Staff Members.
