ESC-20 Board of Directors Election
Board Vacancy
ESC-20 currently has a vacant position on the Board of Directors. In accordance with Texas Education Code, a vacancy on the ESC Board shall be filled by appointment by the remaining members of the Board for the unexpired term (May 2019).


The application period for this position on the Board of Directors of Education Service Center, Region 20 will open August 1, 2018 and remain open until 5:00p.m. on October 1, 2018. The timeline for appointment process will be determined at the August 22, 2018 Board meeting.

The eligible person shall file at the headquarters of the ESC region in person, by email or by certified mail (1314 Hines Ave., 78208) between August 1, 2018 and October 1, 2018. No filing fee shall be required. For more information please contact Jamie Dunevant ( 210-370-5601.

Eligibility requirements specify that a Board member must be any adult who is at least eighteen years of age, is a citizen of the United States of America, is a resident of the region being served by the Center, is not engaged professionally in education and is not a member of a board of any educational agency or institution.
Application Submission
The application must be submitted to the Executive Director's Office, 1314 Hines Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78208-1899, either in person or by certified mail, between August 1, 2018 and 5:00 p.m. on October 1, 2018.
