STEM Support Services

The STEM Cooperative provides orientation, in-depth training consultative support for a campus to enrich the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math culture.

Your campus has 3 options of support within this Coop: STEM Foundations (for new STEM programs), STEM Implementation (Programs wanting to reacher higher STEM levels), and STEM Leaders (Programs looking to build a STEM pipeline for their district).

The Face-To-Face Professional Development at ESC-20 provides STEM teachers from different districts the opportunity to collaborate and network while learning new skills and content.

Our STEM Specialists are former Engineers, Administrators and STEM instructors who bring their expertise and passion to every session.

The Alamo STEM Workforce Coalition is comprised of committees from the Alamo area who have partnered to extend learning opportunities in the classroom and grow the number of students on STEM degree pathways to help employers gain a competitive edge while contributing to economic growth.

Every summer educators from ESC-20 are brought together to increase their knowledge of Project Based Learning and how to tie content to industry through our Teacher Externship Program.

WeTeach_CS is a program of the University of Texas at Austin's Center for STEM Education, a research, teaching and service unit located in the College of Education. WeTeach_CS provides intensive and sustained K-12 professional development for Texas Computer Science Teachers, or those who are wanting to become certified to teach Computer Science.
