Texas English Language Learners Portal-Parent Resources/Recursos para padres
Parents can find information on teacher training, preparation and certification so they are aware of who is serving their children. They may also review data on the number of English language learners here in the state of Texas and how these ELLs are being served. Programs and models are defined and explained through informational brochures.

English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS)
This site contains all areas of the English Language Proficiency Standards as described in Texas Administrative Code Chapter 74.4. This site helps parents become involved in the process of assisting their own children at home as they learn the English language.

Intercultural Development Research Association (IDRA)
For the latest research on the learning of language, parents may access the IDRA site to gain a more thorough understanding of the policies in place that support English language learners.

Colorin Colorado
Colorín Colorado is the premier national website serving educators and families of English language learners (ELLs) in Grades PreK-12. Colorín Colorado has been providing free research-based information, activities, and advice to parents, schools, and communities around the country for more than a decade.

ELL Parent Resources
