This session provides Grades 3-5 teachers with a clear understanding of how comprehension is developed and deepened with Bluebonnet RLA. Participants will explore how the curriculum supports students in making meaning from increasingly complex texts through purposeful read-alouds, close reading, vocabulary development, and text-based discussion.

Teachers will engage with key lesson components, analyze the progression of comprehension skills across units, and experience instructional routines that promote deeper thinking. The session emphasizes strategies for helping students cite evidence, make inferences, and build knowledge across texts while maintaining strong student engagement.
