ESC-20 provides accountability and assessment support to LEAs, campuses, District Testing Coordinators (DTCs) as related to the requirements of the accountability system and state assessments. ESC-20 staff provides ongoing technical assistance to both districts and campuses throughout the year, specific to the area of need.
A-F Accountability Ratings
The passing of HB 22 during the 85th Texas Legislative session established three domains by which academic achievements of districts and campuses will be measured:
- Student Achievement,
- School Progress, and
- Closing the Gaps
All districts and campuses receive a rating of A, B, C, D, or F in each domain as well as an overall performance rating.
