Critical Issue Sessions
Presented by MoakCasey, LLC, and other School Finance experts.
Critical Issue Sessions will include topics in the areas of:
- The basics of state School Finance
- Financial Accountability
- Understanding the school audit
- Summary of Finance
- Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST)
- PEIMS and the importance of reporting related to School Finance
MoakCasey, LLC will assist ESC-20 will the following services to member LEAs:
- Provide updates on School Finance information and operations
- Present School Finance updates at the 6 Critical Issue Sessions
- Provide School Finance impact models including major proposals for modification of School Finance formulas
- Conduct post-legislative works throughout the year as they occur
- Provide membership for all ESC-20 Commitment members in the Texas School Policy Network
All Sessions will start at 10:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM. Session will be offered virtually or in-person at ESC-20 unless otherwise indicated.
