Beginning in 2018-19 TEA has shifted the annual DTC training from an annual calendar to an academic calendar moving the once a year mandatory training from January to October.

Out of School testing registration

As of October 9, 2017, TAKS will no longer be given. Students that need TEAMS, TAAS or TAKS as a graduation requirement can now take the appropriate STAAR EOC or other substitute assessment. More information for TAKS graduates can be found on TEA’s website: https://tea.texas.gov/student.assessment/taks/. Spring 2020 STAAR EOC have been cancelled due to COVID-19 guidance.
 
Registration will be open May 29 - June 2, for out-of-district (OOD) and out-of-school (OOS) examines to take the June 2020 STAAR EOC administrations. Examines should register online at https://texastests.com/forms/. A list of testing sites, which is alpha by city will also be posted. ESC-20 is NOT a testing site. Here are some links for OOS/OOD:
