House Bill 3 Dyslexia Allotment Spending Guidance (Updated November 2020)
TEA has provided guidance related to the dyslexia allotment established through House Bill 3. This guidance is consistent with previous To the Administrator Addressed letters.
Dyslexia PEIMS Codes (Updated July 2020)
There are three PEIMS codes reported for dyslexia.
- Dyslexia Indicator (submitted in fall snapshot)
- Dyslexia Risk Code (submitted in summer submission)
- Dyslexia Services Code (submitted in summer submission)

Services for Students with Dyslexia and Coding Instructional Arrangement (IA)
Students with dyslexia may be served in a variety of ways through a continuum of services. New guidance has been provided to help illustrate this continuum and answer frequently asked questions about instructional arrangement coding for students identified with dyslexia who receive special education services.
