Substitute Teacher Training
Education Service Center, Region 20 is proud to present a comprehensive three-hour training designed to equip aspiring and current substitute teachers with the essential knowledge and skills required for success in a modern educational environment.
This workshop focuses on foundational principles critical to effective teaching, including:

Classroom Management: Learn proactive strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Professionalism and Ethics: Understand the ethical responsibilities and professional standards expected of educators.

Collegiality and Teamwork: Develop skills to effectively collaborate with school staff, including teachers, administrators, and support personnel.
Furthermore, participants will engage in interactive exercises focused on communication strategies to enhance their interactions with students, parents, and colleagues. The training emphasizes the vital role of the substitute teacher in fostering a positive learning climate, which is directly linked to increased student motivation, inspiration, and academic engagement.
