Autism Social Narratives

The use of social narratives, when combined with other established evidence-based practices, enhances their effectiveness by providing structured, individualized support that addresses specific social and behavioral challenges. This integrative approach ensures a more comprehensive intervention, promoting better generalization and maintenance of desired behaviors in individuals.

The social narratives in this “library” are intended for demonstration purposes only. Readers are free to download and use them as appropriate. It is important to remember that when creating a social narrative for a student, it should be individualized for that specific student’s needs as well as utilize that student’s interests, if possible.

If you have social narratives that you have written, and you would like to have them included in our Social Narratives Library, please send them to Janet Enriquez at [email protected].

The following Social Stories are also available upon request:
  1. When Can I Touch My Private Parts?
  2. Why Do I Have to Wear A Sanitary Napkin?
