Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
PAC Officers and Members
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is comprised of migrant parents, school staff, and community professionals who have a vested interest in the academic success of migrant students. The ESC 20 Migrant PAC represents stakeholders from among the school districts who participate in a shared service agreement (SSA) with ESC 20. The PAC members offer critical feedback and guidance regarding programs and services made available to migrant students through consultation opportunities during the PAC meetings.
The PAC meetings are held throughout the academic year, August-May. Members determine meeting locations, and meeting dates/times. Any migrant parent whose children attend a school district or charter school participating in a shared service agreement may participate in the PAC meetings.
El Consejo Asesor de Padres (Parent Advisory Council, PAC) se compone de padres migrantes, personal escolar y profesionales de la comunidad que tienen un interés personal en el éxito académico de los estudiantes migrantes. El PAC migrante de ESC 20 representa las partes interesadas de entre los distritos escolares que participan en un acuerdo de servicios compartidos (Shared Service Agreement, SSA) con ESC 20. Los miembros del PAC ofrecen comentarios y orientación esenciales sobre los programas y servicios disponibles para los estudiantes migrantes a través de las oportunidades de consulta durante las reuniones del PAC.
Las reuniones del PAC se celebran durante todo el año académico, desde agosto hasta mayo. Miembros determinar los lugares, horarios y fechas de las reuniones. Cualquier padre migrante cuyos hijos asisten a una escuela del distrito escolar o autónoma con subsidio del gobierno que participa en un acuerdo de servicios compartidos pueden asistir y participar en las reuniones del PAC.

All meetings this year will be virtual with the English session at 5:00 pm and Spanish at 6:30 pm.
Todas las reuniones de este año serán virtuales con la sesión en inglés a las 5:00 pm y en español a las 6:30 pm.
