School Nutrition Programs (SNP)
School Nutrition Program (SNP) Specialists provide technical assistance and professional development opportunities for federally assisted meal programs, such as the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Afterschool Care Program (ASCP), and Seamless Summer Option (SSO), which operate in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions.
These programs provide nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free meals to children each school day.
We provide onsite and offsite training and technical support in the following areas:
