The Texas Education Exchange

The Texas Education Exchange is a statewide data solution hosted by the Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston. The Exchange is built to serve all PreK-12 districts in Texas and unites disparate data sources to give educators the insights they need to improve student outcomes. The Exchange also streamlines state reporting to allow educators to focus on improving their schools.
Texas is building for the future by offering The Texas Education Exchange (The Exchange), a statewide data solution that provides PK-12 districts and educators with tools and insights to bolster student success. The Exchange is built on Ed-Fi, a data standard or set of rules that establishes a unified structure for education data.
Leveraging Ed-Fi, The Exchange unites disparate data sources to streamline the data-sharing process and provide actionable insights for educators. With data that works for them, educators can help students succeed.
