The Cohort of Leadership Associates (CoLA) is a 15-month, field-based, performance-oriented program designed to prepare associates to become effective school administrators.

The Texas Superintendents’ Certification Institute (TSCI) is a high-quality, comprehensive certification program designed exclusively to prepare aspiring educational leaders for the superintendency through non-traditional means.

Paraprofessional Certification
The paraprofessional certification training is a four-day workshop for anyone interested in becoming a teacher’s aide. The purpose is to provide relevant and scientific-based research strategies to develop paraprofessional skills. This virtual training includes the role of a paraprofessional, ethics and professionalism, behavior basics, and instructional strategies in reading, writing, and math. The last day will include a paraprofessional certification assessment. |

The training program covers specific school bus safety education training in accordance with the DPS Program Guide For School Bus Driver Training in Texas.

The Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) Appraiser Certification training offered at ESC-20 is a three-day face-to-face training for current and aspiring administrators. Attendance is required for all three days in order to obtain access to the online certification test.
