Parenting in the Age of AI

Everywhere you turn in the news and social media, there are posts about Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and CoPilot. As a parent, what do you need to understand about the tools? How can you utilize them for your own purposes? What should you know when guiding your children? In this introductory session we'll review key tools and questions to ask as a parent when utilizing Artificial Intelligence tools.

Advocating for Your Gifted and Talented (G/T) Student
October 29, 2026
1 am - 2:30 pm
This session focuses on how to support your child's unique learning needs through positive and effective communication with their school. We will explore gentle ways to ensure your student stays challenged and supported while building a helpful partnership with their teachers. The presentation will cover:
- How to work hand-in-hand with teachers to make sure your child feels seen and supported in the classroom.
- Practical ways to request challenges or resources that keep your child excited about going to school.

An interpreter is available for any of the parent trainings. To request an interpreter please indicate SPANISH in the Special Accommodations Request box when you register. Or you can also call 210-370-5286 to solicit an interpreter, with at least one week notice.
