The TEA Prekindergarten Self-Assessment meets the high-quality prekindergarten program evaluation component. LEAs can choose to use the TEA prekindergarten program self-assessment or another program evaluation tool. LEAs should follow their normal data reporting procedures to submit program evaluation data in the Early Childhood Data System (ECDS) and to demonstrate meeting this high-quality prekindergarten component.
