Behavior Event Interview

The Behavior Event Interview (BEI) is a specialized tool created by Public Impact to help identify key leadership competencies that predict future performance.  Region 20’s Leadership Development Specialists are certified Behavior Event Interviewers and can assist your district with the identification and refinement of the leadership competencies in order to develop and/or enhance the skills of campus and district leaders.  Through the BEI interview process, the specialists will identify strengths and opportunities for growth for each candidate.

A campus/district requesting BEIs may choose from two types of service:

  • Certified BEI interviewers will conduct on-site interviews with candidates and provide detailed reports to each candidate and a summary of competency outcomes to the district/campus. The district/campus will use the information provided in the summary report at its discretion.

Fee: $250 PER CANDIDATE

The Leadership Development Team will also provide scheduled on-site leadership support throughout the school year and conduct follow-up BEIs at the end of the school year to evaluate each candidate’s growth.
